The windows really made our house look great. It didn't take the installers long to do the job. They also cleaned up the area when they were finished. The bathroom is definitely warmer - NO DRAFTS-. WE THINK OUR FURNACE IS RUNNING LESS.

We have Thermo Guard windows that were installed before we bought our house 10 years ago. They have a lifetime warranty, but there are no longer any Thermo Guard offices in our area. Two of our windows cracked & broke with the cold weather over the past winter and we couldn't find anyone to replace them. Jason from Quillen Bros came and sold new windows to replace the broken ones, and we can already tell the difference in the two rooms where these windows were installed. We live on a busy street, but can hear NO outside noise in those two rooms. Also, the sun comes in, but there is no heat beating down on us. It's Wonderful!

The installers were not only on time, but a little bit early. I've had my new windows for a couple weeks now and they are wonderful. What a huge difference from the 100 year old windows I replaced. I especially like the frosted glass casement window in the bathroom with the easy crank and a removable screen. I look forward to a lot less draft (Cold) this winter upstairs too.

We purchased Quillen Bros Windows because of the strong recommendation we received from friends who had Quillen Bros replacement windows installed in their home. We were very pleased with how well the replacement windows matched the dark woodwork in our old home. The windows looked similar to the original windows. The appearance is excellent. The full screen does not take away from our view of the outdoors.

It has been a couple of months since we put in our Quillen Bros windows (11) & (2) patio doors. The windows are working great and are easy to operate & clean. I like the heat blocking the best. The sun beats down on our patio door and you can stand right in front of it and not even feel it.
Yes it is a big expense like most home improvements but one that will save us in the long run on our heating and cooling expense lost by heat transfer in the summer and cold transfer in the winter. I have seen savings in our cooling bill already this summer which has been hot.

We were visited by a sales representative for Quillen Bros. He was very knowledgeable & personable. We decided to order windows based on his presentation. We found that everything he told us was true. The workers came & replaced all the windows in our 1890's 2-story house in two days. They were fast, careful, & very respectful of us & our property.
Our windows were installed the end of March 2008. The next months gas bill showed how much gas we used for our furnace. Even though this years April was colder than last year's April, we had used just about half the amount of gas as last year. So the promised 40% energy savings was right on!
